Flashcards or flipcards are a great way to learn Thai words and store a mental

vocabulary quickly.

They are simple, easy to use and very effective.

Just a point here worth discussing which will help in understanding

pronunciation in addition to the use of tones as detailed in the previous

introduction page.

Thais do not extend the consonant at the end of a word. The mouth forms the

letter only and the sound is not extended as in English.

Listen to the pronunciation in the flashcards and you will get the idea.

covering many day to day words and phrases, it is very good value and one I

have used successfully.

Based on a method of Preview, Recognise it, Produce it, you can save your

progress too.

Additional features are pod audio for MP3 players and a forum for members.

learning new words, track and maintain learned items, print cards and create

your own lists too.

Grammar, although important, is not as useful initially as learning vocabulary.
